Hand made CLEMSON wall plaque constructed of recycled pine. Measuring approximately 14.5" by 11" by .75", it has been stained a dark walnut and allowed to dry, at which time glue size was applied and a red latex paint was applied and again allowed to dry. Due to the dissimilar drying times of the glue and the latex paint, it results in the paint being torn apart creating the crackled appearance. The "paw" is cut from 1/4" pine, and sprayed with a white and black enamel to produce the shadowed appearance. The "G" was then glued to the front of the plaque and allowed to dry, at which time the plaque was sealed with two coats of a water-based varathane finish. A sawtooth hanger is installed on the back.
